Dr James Jack is the Medical Director of Tarquin Medical Aesthetics, and its principle Aesthetic Clinician.
He believes that every face is unique, requiring an individualised approach to achieve a natural, refreshed result. He will combine your ideas & expectations with his medical expertise, coming to a shared decision regarding your bespoke treatment plan.
He prides himself on his integrity, clear & honest communication, & his ability to put patients at ease when having complex procedures. Holding himself to the highest ethical & professional standards, he strives to provide a level of care he would wish for his own family. He is utterly committed to safety & professional development, something especially important in the currently unregulated aesthetics industry.
He has completed the prestigious Fellowship in Regional Anaesthesia in Toronto, Canada, performing & teaching over 1000 nerve injections for anaesthesia & pain relief. This requires expert hand eye co-ordination, manual dexterity, and knowledge of anatomy: the exact skill set required for successful aesthetic practice.
Graduating with distinction from Guy’s, King’s & St Thomas’ Medical School, he also gained an intercalated Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Physiology with 1st class honours, & received two prizes for academic excellence. He has numerous academic publications, authored book chapters, presented his research internationally, & is the recipient of two research grants. He is a Fellow of both the Royal College of Anaesthetists & the Faculty of Pain Medicine.
