PRP Microneedling/Vampire facial

This is a combination of 2 very successful treatments: Microneedling and Platelet Rich Plasma INJECTIONS

What is Microneedling:

Microneedling involves using small, sterilized needles to AGITATE the skin. tHIS promotes the body’s natural healing response, generatING new collagen and ELASTIN to smooth, firm, and tone THE skin. The effect was first noticed by surgeons who saw skin around tattoos was of significantly increased quality compared to the surrounding area.

Microneedling is minimally invasive, requiring little to no downtime. When carried out with a dedicated device by a medical professional with numbing cream it is both far more effective, and more comfortable, than using at home derma roller devices.

What is platelet-rich plasma (PRP)?:

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) treatment is a non-surgical treatment that uses your own body’s growth factors to stimulate skin and follicle recovery. The treatment uses your own platelets from your own blood to help enhance the natural healing process of skin and hair follicles. It is used to treat Tendon, Ligament, Muscle and Joint Injuries, post surgical healing, osteoarthritis, and more recently skin rejuvenation and hair loss.

PRP consists of two elements: plasma, or the liquid portion of blood, and platelets. Platelets play a vital role in blood clotting, but they also contain growth factors that trigger cell reproduction and stimulate tissue regeneration or healing in the treated area. Platelet-rich plasma is simply blood with the red cell portion removed.

Once we have explained the procedure, and you have consented to it, numbing cream will be applied to the areas to be treated.

At the same time we will perform a blood test to obtain a sample to extract the PRP. This will be placed into a centrifuge to separate the platelets and plasma from the red blood cells.

The PRP will be collected and applied to the treatment area using our sterile microneedling device.

The APPOINTMENT TAKES 1 HOUR. The results will start to be seen within a few days, with full benefit after 3-4 weeks.

Once you’ve completed the procedure, you’ll be provided with full aftercare advice. We will ask you to stay in touch and CONTACT us if you have any concerns or questions regarding your treatment.
