With ageing, the loss of muscle & skin tone, combined with the effects of gravity, lead to what is commonly called a “turkey neck”. This can contribute significantly to make someone look older than they are. One of the main reasons this occurs is due to use of the two platsyma muscles, which run from the collar bone to the bottom of the jaw. The muscles can be seen in the front of the neck when clenching the jaw and showing as much of the lower teeth as possible.
This can be treated with targeted injections to the platysma muscle in the neck, relaxing it and allowing the opposing muscles to lift the neck. The procedure is often termed a “Nefertiti neck lift” after Queen Nefertiti from the 18th dynasty of Ancient Egypt, who was renowned for her beautiful, slim, elongated neck.
In our experience we achieve far superior results when combined with a skin booster such as profhilo or seventy hyal, and recommend combined treatment.

Treatment: A series of botulinum injections are injected in to both platysmal muscles between your jawline and collarbone, relaxing the muscle. This reduces banding of the muscle and lifts neck.
