FOREHEAD/UPPER FACE WRINKLE RELAXING INJECTIONS
Forehead injections are typically divided into three different areas: Forehead, frown lines and crows feet. Treatment of individual areas is effective however, the best results are typically achieved when all areas are combined
FOREHEAD LINES/FRONTALIS
Horizontal forehead lines mainly form from repeated raising of our eyebrows, achieved by contracting the frontalis muscle. These lines can contribute to a tired and stressed expression. The most effective treatment for this is targeted injections to the frontalis muscle, which will relax any established wrinkles. They also prevent them, and any dynamic wrinkles, from getting any worse. Combining this treatment with frown lines (glabellar complex), and also the laugh lines/crows feet, often gives excellent results.
VERTICAL FROWN LINES/GLABELLAR COMPLEX
Frown lines are the vertical lines between your eyebrows you may see when you frown or make an angry face. They are caused by the action of the two corrugator supercilii muscles. The procerus muscle, which pulls your eyebrows down when you make an angry face, also has an effect. The actions of these muscles, together called the glabellar complex, can give an angry or stressed appearance.
Wrinkle relaxing injections to this area, known as the glabellar complex, work extremely well to give a refreshed appearance. They work particularly well when combined with forehead and laugher lines/crows feet treatment.
